The Healing Hand That Touches Again - Part 2

In our text we find a blind man who was touched & healed by Christ; he received his sight. However, the man required another touch from Christ, after being made to see, to add clarity to his vision. I wonder if we have any sinners, any spiritually blind people here today, people who need the Savior to open their sin-blinded eyes? And I also wonder if we have any believers, those who have received sight through the miracle of salvation, that need another touch because things are out of focus? I mean, though you are saved, your spiritual perception is dull; though you are spiritually whole, the focus of your life isn’t sharp; though your spiritual eyes have been opened, you know something just isn’t quite right.

Friends, I have good news. The Lord Jesus Christ stands ready to give you that initial touch of salvation to open your sin-blinded eyes. And He is also ready & committed to touching again the eyes of those who, though they have sight, find that their vision is not perfect. Church, the Lord will continue to apply His healing hand to those eyes until He completes the work which He has begun. This morning, I pray that we all receive whatever touch it is that we desperately need.
