The Value of a Soul

Too often we make the tragic mistake of valuing temporal things and neglecting the eternal. We value things that will be thrown away some day. What we should value so much more is the soul of man! Jesus said in Mark 8:36 "...what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, an lose his soul?"
Jesus is speaking about the soul of man and He reminds us that every single soul is of infinite value. In fact, His words imply that one soul is worth far more than this whole wide world and all it contains and offers combined. One soul is more valuable than all of that. I want us to think today about the value of your soul and the value of the souls around you.
