Comfort When You're Cast Down

Even the saintliest of saints can find themselves cast down at times. What do I mean by cast down? According to Vincent’s Word Studies it means… that of depression through circumstances. Paul admitted that he didn’t always ride a high spiritual crest or wave. He candidly admitted that in verse 5 of chapter 7 that he had no rest, no relief, & some fears which had caused him to fall into despair. The great apostle had been cast down by the troubling circumstances he was facing at this time in life.
