God's Word - Part 2

Culture has changed drastically in just a few decades, but the grass withers and the flower fades while the Word of God stands forever. Believers who stand on it find their lives kept stable in a shifting world.

Key Verse: "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple." - Psalm 19:7 (KJV)

Finishing the morning message from our Back to the Basics series, Pastor Marc Williamson turns to Psalm 19 and what God's Word is able to do for you. It converts the soul, turning it back and restoring it. It makes wise the simple and renews the mind until we no longer walk according to the course of this world. He also urges parents to saturate their children in Scripture from a young age, because the Holy Scriptures are able to make them wise unto salvation.

If you understand the benefits of God's Word, you will want to be in it as much as you can.
