Kingdom Culture - Part 2
Jesus warned His disciples never to despise one of His little ones. In the culture of Christ's kingdom, there is no room for looking down on any child of God or treating another believer as less than ourselves.
Key Verse: "Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven." - Matthew 18:10 (KJV)
Continuing in Matthew 18, Pastor Marc Williamson looks at what it means to despise a believer: to disdain them, treat them with contempt or count them worthless. Jesus answers that attitude with the parable of the shepherd who leaves the ninety and nine to seek the one sheep that went astray, and rejoices more over that one than over the rest. Every believer is precious to the Father, and He is not willing that one of these little ones should perish.
If the Shepherd values every sheep that much, so should we. Treat each believer as a precious child of God.
