Proclaiming Truth in Perilous Times

Behind what is happening in our world, there are spiritual forces at work. This is not a Republican or Democrat issue. It is the same warfare that began in Genesis 3. The church is the pillar and ground of the truth, and in perilous times it must keep speaking.

Key Verse: "And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth." - Revelation 11:3 (KJV)

Setting aside the Genesis series for a morning, Pastor Marc Williamson turns to Revelation 11 and the two witnesses God will raise up during the tribulation. He explains God's coming work among the Jewish people, the opposition the witnesses will face and the protection they will have until their work is finished. He also addresses how biblical truth, even the truth that God created us male and female, is now treated as political and labeled hate speech.

The church is not moving into politics; politics is moving into the church. Whatever the cost, God's people must keep proclaiming what thus saith the Lord.
