Standing Fast in a Shaking World

On a cruise in a storm, walking across the deck becomes difficult for everyone. The world we live in is shaking like that, and many Christians are losing their footing. In 1 Corinthians 16, Paul tells believers how to stand fast.

Key Verse: "Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong." - 1 Corinthians 16:13 (KJV)

Lakelan Williamson preaches on standing fast in a shaking world. The foundation of our faith is the Word of God, and the more truth we put into our minds, the firmer we will stand when the winds blow. If your walk is shaky, you are not in your Bible enough. He also reminds us that we cannot fight temptation, discouragement and spiritual enemies in our own strength. That is why so many start well and don't finish well.

Make up your mind to obey these commands every day. Stand in the Lord's strength, and you will still be standing when the world falls apart.
