The Résumé of the King - Part 6
Christmas has come and gone, but the last name Isaiah gives the coming King is one you need every day of the year. He is the Prince of Peace. The world can only offer peace when everything is going well. Christ gives peace in the middle of the storm.
Key Verse: "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." - Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
When a great tempest frightened seasoned fishermen, Jesus was asleep in the ship, and His perfect peace was undisturbed. In this final part of The Résumé of the King, Pastor Marc Williamson shows that Christ came to make peace between God and sinners, gives His peace to believers and teaches us to experience it by bringing every care to God in prayer. He also explains why the believer can face even death without fear, because the Prince of Peace will be with him.
Peace with God comes through the Saviour. The peace of God comes as we walk with Him and bring Him our cares. Do you have that peace?
