The Revealing of the King

Caesar Augustus was hailed as a divine savior who would bring lasting peace. But while he thought he was ruling the world, God was using his decree to set the stage for the real King.

Key Verse: "And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn." - Luke 2:7 (KJV)

When Caesar decreed that all the world should be taxed, Joseph and Mary went to Bethlehem, just as the prophets said. There the King of kings was born with no midwife, wrapped by His young mother and laid in a manger. In this third message of our Behold Your King series, Pastor Marc Williamson looks at how God worked through history to reveal His Son, and at the humility of His coming.

Don't be mistaken by His humble beginning. The manger was the path to His supreme exaltation.
